Donald Claude Fernandez age 81, of Mt. Prospect, IL passed away on May 2, 2016. Veteran of the US Navy during the Korean War. Donald was born 09/08/1934 in Denver, CO. Post service, Donald and family moved to Chicago, IL, later becoming a prosperous businessman, owner of American Financial Concepts East. Beloved husband of Marilyn Fernandez, nee Meschino. Loving and devoted father of Francis Fernandez. Caring father of Julie (Gary) Neilsen and Lisa (Terry) Fitzmaurice. Eldest and loving brother of Claudette (Ray) LaVelle, Thomas (Connie) Fernandez, Ronald Fernandez, the late Tim Carson and the late Bruce Carson.
